Mateo Tenzera

Mateo Tenzera’s martial arts journey began at the age of 8 years old. He started with Karate and gymnastics because he always wanted to have unstoppable ninja skills after looking up to Bruce Lee. After a few years, his martial arts training took a pause and continued skateboarding until the age of 15 when a friend introduced him to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. During his first class, he knew this was going to be something he’d do for the rest of his life.

Being diagnosed with ADHD at a young age, he realized this was a way to keep his mind focused on something which gave him the opportunity to learn more about himself. Now, Mateo is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu second degree black belt under Leo Vieira and has been training for over 10 years. He is also a brown belt in Judo and actively competes internationally in jiu-jitsu competitions. He is available for private classes and fitness sessions. Please call to inquire about availability.
